The 10 best foods for muscle recovery

If you want to train smart, you also need to eat smart and live smart. This ought to go without saying, but many people forget that nutrition, lifestyle and training are interconnected, then wonder why their training is not producing the results it should. When you're young, it's possible for some (lucky) people to get away without eating clean and still look in amazing shape.

However, it's a sad fact of life that as you get older, your body begins to change and it becomes harder to stay in shape. Unfortunately, if you want to stay lean, you can't out-train a bad diet

Eating smart is not just about eating the right foods to provide energy, build muscle mass and to ensure you stay healthily. The body also needs to recover and as with all kinds of foods, some are better at recovery than others, such as salmon, eggs and leafy greens.

In 2017, there will be an increasing recognition on the role of recovery and its importance for health.

One of our friends, Jenny Holt, has written a great article on the 10 best recovery foods and we'd love it if you'd support her and take a look.
